Throwback.. bought this "Teach Your Child To Read" book for my 5 year old child. Luqman Michel is the one who helped Emmanuel to read well (who at that time Emmanuel 10 years old, couldn't read at all and was sidelined by the teacher at his school in class in / during grade 4 that we ourselves witnessed a little bit much / has made him a "shutdown Kid" at that time .. Thankfully we have seen a pediatrician and the doctor at that time confirmed that Emmanuel does have learning problems and we transferred him to a more suitable school and we are impressed with Luqman Michel because in a short time he was able to enable Emmanuel to read well. Now Emmanuel is even a class leader in form 2

Testimony of a teacher.

Here is a testimony from a teacher who confesses openly that she and her mother had been teaching the kids in pre-school the wrong sounds of the letters.

He then was admitted into primary one instead of primary two into SRS Datuk Simon Fung.

He is not in his third year in a university in Adelaide doing an Accountancy Degree course.

Here is an email from one of my first students. She is now in her first year in University Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) doing Bachelor in Mathematical Science.

Life is all about learning. Learning shapes our character and teaches us the basic principles of life. As almost every 5 year old child, I went to a pre-school called Tzu Yu Kindergarten. I do not remember much, but my mother had told me about how I did not gain much in pre-school. Even pronouncing the simplest words felt like weathering the storm.

Chronological age : 9 years 7 months

Emmanuel was referred by Dr. Fauziah (Gleneagle Hospital) due to his learning difficulties and to ascertain his cognitive functioning and whether he is dyslexic.

He is able to read one-syllable simple English words and a few of two-syllable Malay words. He is also slow in writing and when asked to copy, he made mistakes easily. However, he is good at memorizing. With regard to his academic activities, Emmanuel is easily bored, but he can spend many hours playing the computer games.

Here is the 'letter' from the father of my first student for 2019 given to me on my request. I have decided to ask for such a letter when a parent comes to see me and then ask for another letter at the end of the tuition.
